Pahat – The Hope is an upcoming Village Home-stay, with the hope to provide the experience of serene authentic village life in very natural surroundings. It is set amongst 3 acres farm with the aesthetic plantation in a very typical small village of Sindhudurg. Here, we make an effort to do simple things to make your visit easy and comfortable. And hope to provide some village experiences to make your trip fun-filled, memorable and meaningful.
Within this small 3 acres of land, we hope to develop Agritourism along with Cow tourism. It allows the guests to experience the real enchanting and authentic contact with the rural life, taste the authentic local food and enjoy some hands-on experiences in farming day to day tasks during their visit. We have grown multiple varieties of plants. There are fruit-bearing plants like Mango varieties, Kaju, Jackfruit varieties, Peru, Chiku, Jambh varieties, Ramphal, Laxman Phal, Rambutan, supari along with many Coconut trees, Velvet Apple, Mangosteen, Jambhul, Grapefruit, Kokum, Avala, Triphala, Sitaphal. There are some spice trees, like Jayphal, Lavang, Dalchini, Pepper varieties.
Along with an aesthetic plantation, we grow crops like rice, Bajari, Groundnut, Nachni, Turmeric alternatively in different seasons.
The added feature of this farm is a small Cow farm. Here guest shall have a very serene experience by participating in the actual work of a Cow farm. Feeding green fodder to cows, milking cows, grooming cows are the activities by which the people can get relaxation.
Tourists can relax and revitalize in a purely natural environment in Pahat – The Hope, where the guest rooms decor is in a rustic style. With an emphasis on simple and earthy colours, warm lighting and ultimately an unpretentious, organic warmth, feel of life and vitality.
Note: At present, the farm is close for the visitor due to operational reasons and may open by November 2021.
